For many years, the inhabitants of Magwenzi Village, Chivi were dependent on unclean and unreliable water sources. This not only posed a risk to their health but also threatened their food security as they had to use this water for their crops and families. However, their circumstances changed significantly when they gained access to clean and dependable tap water through CGCDZ.
This development has had a profound impact on their lives, enabling them to grow maize and vegetables throughout the year, irrespective of climate change and drought conditions. Consequently, the community partners have seen improvements in their nutrition, income, and resilience.
